West Ham took the spoils against London rivals Arsenal in Saturday's early kick-off, courtesy of a first senior goal for the club by Declan Rice.

The Hammers struck just after the half-time interval, disrupting their opponents with a run down the right flank by Felipe Anderson, who cut the ball back for Samir Nasri to tee up Rice to score.

Manuel Pellegrini's side held out to take a crucial three points, and dent Unai Emery's men's hopes of a top four finish this season.
