West Ham players Mark Noble and Jack Wilshere are confident Marko Arnautovic will remain at the club in the transfer window despite interest from the Chinese Super League.

The future of the club's talisman was put to captain Mark Noble before their Premier League fixture against Arsenal by a Sky Sports reporter and the club captain revealed there had been a conversation between Arnautovic and the squad over the speculation.

Arnautovic is the subject of a rumoured £35m bid from Shanghai SIPG and his agent and brother Danijel Arnautovic gave an interview to talkSPORT claiming the Austraian forward would be interested in a move during the transfer window.

"He's a great person to have around and he's the kind of person who just wants to play.

Wilshere was quick to praise the forward by insisting that he is currently one of the best forwards the Premier League has to offer and highlighted his importance to the Hammers.
