Partey-Lacazette swap?

Things had seemingly gone a little bit quiet on the Thomas Partey to Arsenal front, but the rumours are circling again after a report in AS.

The Spanish outlet claim the Gunners will offer up French striker Alexandre Lacazette as part of a swap deal. Atletico have been heavily linked with Lacazette in the past, both while he was at Lyon and since he move to the Emirates.

No Juve contact over Jorginho

Juventus are yet to make contact over a possible move for Chelsea star Jorginho, according to his agent.

Speculation in Italy suggests Juve boss Maurizio Sarri is keen on signing a player he coached at both Stamford Bridge and Napoli.

“Juve are one of the top clubs in Europe, all players would like an experience there,” Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “But I didn’t hear from anyone, [Fabio] Paratici hasn’t call me.

“Jorginho is currently a Chelsea player, has a three-year contract and is doing well in London.”

Ceballos reiterates Real plans

Arsenal loanee Dani Ceballos has reiterated his desire to forge a career at Real Madrid when he returns to the Bernabeu this summer.

Given the wealth of midfield talent already present at Madrid, there had been speculation about a permanent move to Arsenal, while other reports linked him with a return to former club Real Betis.

However, he told TVE: "I am a Real Madrid player ... and any player in the world would like to play for Real Madrid.

"I have a contract with them for three more years and they are the ideal team to succeed."

Asking price is stumbling block over Moses deal

Chelsea are finding it difficult to offload Nigerian star Victor Moses, according to The Sun.

Moses has been on loan at Inter Milan this season but the report claims the Serie A side are refusing to pay their £10.75m asking price.

Manchester City have bid €12m for Penarol youngster Facundo Pellistri, according to Sport Mediaset in Italy.

The Uruguayan striker has also reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid (any anyone who plays Football Manager 2020).

Pellistri, 18, has been offered a five-year contract by the Premier League champions.

Vertonghen considering Betis offer

Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen is weighing up an offer from Real Betis, according to the Daily Star.

Vertonghen is out of contract this summer and expected to leave Spurs.

Jose Mourinho is already on the lookout for a replacement, with Roma and Inter Milan among the clubs also interested in signing Vertonghen on a free this summer.

Juve wanted Haaland - in under-23s

The agent of Norwegian sensation Erling Haaland says he turned down the chance to join Juventus in January because the Italian club would have put him in their youth side.

Photo: Getty

Mino Raiola instead helped engineer a move from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund, where Haaland has continued his prolific goalscoring form.

"Why didn't Haaland move to Juventus? They would have put him in the Under-23 squad," Raiola told La Republicca.

Man United and Liverpool monitor Traore

Le 10 Sport say Manchester United and Liverpool are keeping tabs on Wolves star Adama Traore ahead of the summer window.

After being a fringe player in Wolves' first season back in the Premier League, Traore has exploded into life this season, becoming one of the league's most feared midfielders.

Sancho urged to snub United move

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Emre Can has urged teammate Jadon Sancho to snub a summer move to Manchester United.

Sancho is considered one of the brightest young prospects in Europe and has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford.

But former Liverpool man Can does not see why Sancho would rush out of the door – particularly not to United, who are languishing in fifth in the Premier League while Dortmund challenge for the Bundesliga title.

“I see no reason to put Manchester United above Borussia Dortmund,” Can told Sport Bild.

“Not from a sporting side and not because of the appeal. I’d tell him to stay put and let’s play together forever.

“Jadon has class that not a lot of players possess. I noticed that fairly quickly. He’s enormously important for us.”

Sane prepared for wage cut

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is reportedly prepared to accept a cut in his wages in order to secure his move to Bayern Munich.

The 24-year-old has reportedly agreed to join Bayern on a five-year deal, according to reports in Germany, taking the No10 shirt - and all that is left is for Bayern to agree a fee with Man City.

Bild say the Germany international has agreed to drop his wage demands by 30 per cent to reach a deal on personal terms, suggesting the former Schalke man is ready for his Bundesliga return.

Haaland release clause date

Real Madrid could be forced to wait until 2022 to sign one of their top transfer targets – Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Haaland, who is also interesting Manchester United, opened the scoring for BVB in their 4-0 win over Schalke as the Bundesliga returned on Saturday.

Madrid president Florentino Perez called Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke after the game to congratulate him on his side's successful showing after weeks of inactivity due to coronavirus.

Perez may have been wishing he had paid Haaland's €20 million release clause in January, when he left Red Bull Salzburg for BVB, although that fee was bumped by a further €23m in agent fees.

That still seems cheap, though, especially after 13 goals for the 19-year-old in his first 12 games in yellow and black.

Haaland has an agreement in his contract allowing him to leave the Signal Iduna Park for €75m, but Standard Sport understands that clause will not kick in until 2022.

Aubameyang signs deal... to compete in F1 Virtual GP

Arsenal fans have been looking anxiously for news over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future after contract talks stalled.

Fortunately, his latest 'deal' will not affect where he will be playing his football next season.

The Gunners star has agreed to race for McLaren in the next round of Formula 1's Virtual Grand Prix series at the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Gabonese will link up with Lando Norris driving for McLaren in the race around the virtual representation of Monaco's famous street circuit.

Aubameyang becomes the latest footballer to join the grid, with Sergio Aguero, Thibaut Courtois, Alessio Romagnoli and Arthur Melo all appearing in the esports series so far.

Inter target Aguero as Lautaro replacement

Sergio Aguero has previously committed himself to Manchester City until after they win the Champions League - but could the striker be swayed by a move to Inter Milan?

Photo: GettyThe 31-year-old is reportedly a target for the Nerazzurri to replace Lautaro Martinez, who has been linked with Barcelona, Chelsea and, ironically, Man City.

The Argentine's contract expires in 2021 and while there are no current concerns over Aguero penning another deal, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Aguero would be on the Serie A side's shortlist.

Mane to Real Madrid?

Liverpool may have to brace themselves for an approach for Sadio Mane from Real Madrid after shelving a deal for Kylian Mbappe until 2021.

Photo: GettyLe10 Sport report the LaLiga giants have set their sights on the Senegalese forward as Zinedine Zidane looks to strengthen his squad this summer, with PSG refusing to sell Mbappe.

Mane, 28, has enjoyed a fine season for the Reds, scoring 16 goals in all competitions, as Jurgen Klopp's side look set to wrap up the Premier League title when the season resumes.

But Mane may welcome the chance to play in Spain after spending five years at Anfield since his £34m move from Southampton.

Gomes wants assurances amid Chelsea interest

Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes is stalling over signing a new contract because he wants assurances over first-team football.

That's according to the Manchester Evening News, who claim the 19-year-old wants more game time in the first team after watching Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood get regular minutes under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Gomes has reportedly turned down a new deal worth £30,000-a-week and United are said to be preparing a 'final offer' for the youngster.

Chelsea have been tipped to snatch the highly-rated midfielder from their Premier League rivals, although they would be required to pay compensation as the player is under the age of 24.

Chelsea in for Griezmann?

According to The Sun, Barcelona have put a number of players up for sale in plans already in motion before the coronavirus pandemic.

Only Lionel Messi, Frenkie de Jong and goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stergen are safe from the chop, with Barcelona most notably ready to cut their losses on Antoine Griezmann just a year after finally sealing his signature.

Where could Griezmann end up? The Sun report that Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked.

One to keep an eye on.

Arsenal in Lacazette - Lemar swap

Arsenal are reportedly mulling over a swap deal which would see Alexandre Lacazette head to Atletico Madrid - and Thomas Lemar join the Gunners.

Photo: GettyAccording toAS, Atletico have a long-standing interest in Lacazette and tried to sign him before he left for Arsenal when he was at Lyon.

Lemar was also wanted by Arsenal but the north London side, then managed by Arsene Wenger, failed in a big-money bid.

But it is claimed the pair could finally end up where they were initially first wanted if a swap happens this summer, although it could depend on whether Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stays at Arsenal this summer.

ICYMI: Man Utd close in on Saul and Sancho

Manchester United remain the front-runners to sign Jadon Sancho this summer, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.

The report claims there is still a very high chance United will land Sancho this summer, with the player's camp confident a significant offer will come in.

Photo: Getty Images

United are said to have been in contact 'very recently'.

It comes after reports just days after claims Manchester United have 'practically sewn up' a deal for Saul Niguez. What quiet transfer window, eh?

That's right, Todo Fichajes in Spain are reporting that the deal is pretty much done at a price way below the player's release clause of £132million (nearer £70million).

PSG line up Aubameyang bid

Yesterday it was Erling Haaland. Now reports in France are linking Paris Saint-Germain with a bid for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Photo: GettyThe 30-year-old is yet to sign a new deal with only 13 months to run on his current contract with the Gunners and head coach Mikel Arteta may be forced to sell his star striker this summer.

According to Le10 Sport, PSG are keen on the Gabonese, who used to play in Ligue 1 with St Etienne.

But the report says Arsenal's £50m asking price is likely to be too steep for the French champions, who are set to lose Edinson Cavani on a free transfer this summer.

Spurs linked with Chile star

Jose Mourinho's search for a defender could take him to Ligue 1 as the Tottenham boss is reportedly tracking AS Monaco's Guillermo Maripan.

Photo: AFPThe 26-year-old joined the French outfit from Alaves in 2019 and he made 20 appearances, scoring two goals, before the Ligue 1 campaign was cancelled.

The player has revealed his ambition to play in the Premier League and Spurs could be his ticket to the UK.

“Personally I have always liked the Premier a lot, I have always wanted to play there, so I am aiming there," he told Chilean outlet Alaire Libre.

However, with Monaco ready to demand £35m and Spurs understood to be lining up free transfers and loans, a deal this summer may prove to be difficult to finalise.

When does the 2020 summer transfer window open?

The summer window opens in England at the end of the season - currently May 18, but that will almost certainly not be when it finishes due to Covid-19 delays.

Players can be officially registered with their new clubs when the Fifa international window opens on July 1.

From January 1 onwards, Premier League players with six months left on their contract have been able to negotiate and agree pre-contract deals with foreign clubs.
