West Ham host Arsenal in Saturday's lunchtime kick off with the history books not on the east Londoners side in recent years.

The Hammers have an utterly wretched record against the Gunners over the last four years and it was way back in 2015 that West Ham last picked up a Premier League win over their north London counterparts.

The last time West Ham beat Arsenal in the top flight was on August 9 2015, Slaven Bilic's first game in charge of the club as manager and the day Reece Oxford announced himself on the scene as a 16-year-old when the visitors won 2-0 at the Emirates thanks to goal from Cheikhou Kouyate and Mauro Zarate.

Those drawns came in 2017, 2016 and two in 2009 - Arsenal have won the rest apart from that meeting in 2015 in north London.

For the main though, it has been a hopeless task for the Hammers, who have picked up just that single league win against Arsenal along with four draws in their last 21 attempts.

Their only other visit to the London Stadium since the Hammers moved there saw the Gunners romp to a 5-1 victory in 2016 thanks to a hat trick from Alexis Sanchez adding to goals from Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
