Samir Nasri is set to leave West Ham imminently - having made a total of just six appearances for the club.

The regularly-injured striker is known to be keen to extend his stay at West Ham, having settled in the area and recently moved into a new family home.

The former French international became Manuel Pellegrini's first signing of the last transfer window back in January, having spent some considerable time training with United whilst unable to play due to an earlier ban.

Nasri made his debut for the Hammers in the 2-0 FA Cup third round win over Birmingham back in January, before featuring against Arsenal (1-0) and Bournemouth (0-2) in the same month.

Nasri was due to feature as a second half substitute against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last month, but sustained a calf injury during a half time warm-up.
