As football around the world has come to an abrupt halt, we face no choice but to keep ourselves entertained…and what better way to do so than taking a look back at some of West Ham’s most memorable victories – today’s subject being AFC Bournemouth.

Today we take a look back at five times West Ham triumphed over the Cherries… Julian Dicks scored West Ham’s first goal of the afternoon as the Hammers ran out as comfortable 4-1 winners in Division Two.

Gokhan Tore – a name for the history books… With West Ham and Bournemouth both fighting for Premier League survival, this clash at London Stadium on New Year’s Day was the making of a ‘six-pointer’.

A brace from Mark Noble and goals from Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson pushed West Ham clear of the drop zone.

West Ham’s first Premier League opponents at their new home was Bournemouth; Michail Antonio’s 85th minute winner gave Bilic’s side all three points.

The latter then grabbed his second and West Ham’s third with six minutes to play.

Mark Keller’s 61st minute strike put West Ham ahead, before Frank Lampard sealed the victory with 13 minutes left to play and sent the Irons through to the fourth round.
