West Ham United forward Michail Antonio performed the shocking ritual of pulling on a Tottenham Hotspur shirt after losing to Ryan Sessegnon at FIFA 20 last week.

Unfortunately for the 29-year-old, he lost 2-0 thanks to Sessegnon scoring in the first-half with Giovani Lo Celso and Lucas Moura.

Bale’s teammate Marco Asensio won another charity tournament contested between La Liga players and watched by 170,000 fans online, while Leyton Orient have set up a “FIFA Ultimate Quaran-Team” competition.

Antonio took to the football video game on Friday to play a match with his Spurs rival to replace the real fixture which had been scheduled for that day but was postponed.

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has organised a charity FIFA tournament called ‘Combat Corona’, with Premier League footballers such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Kieran Tierney, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw all taking part.

The rules stipulated that the loser had to don the other team’s shirt and Antonio went on Instagram to show himself in Spurs’ lilywhite home kit.

However, Antonio ensured that he did not upset Hammers fans too much by taking off the kit to reveal a West Ham strip underneath, adding: “I'm a man of my word, so I'm wearing the [Spurs] kit.
