West Ham beat Arsenal 1-0 in the lunchtime kick off on Saturday thanks to Declan Rice's first goal for the club in his 55th appearance in claret and blue.

But the match will be remembered for Marko Arnautovic seeming to wave goodbye to the crowd when he was substituted in the 70th minute to be replaced by Andy Carroll.

Arnautovic was the subject of a £31.5m bid from an unnamed Chinese Super League club in the week, which West Ham rejected and then had to release a statement insisting he was not for sale following an outburst from the player's agent and brother that his sibling wanted out of the club.
