"Crystal Palace will have a point to prove after being beaten by Brighton last time out, but I am going for another Hammers win here."
In his weekly predictions feature for the BBC website, Lawrenson said: "West Ham have had back-to-back wins over Newcastle and Cardiff and they are starting to look far more like a team, although Marko Arnautovic's hamstring injury is a blow.
The Hammers welcome the Eagles to the London Stadium as Manuel Pellegrini's men look to continue their recent form, having claimed victories against Newcastle United and Cardiff City in the past week.
And Lawrenson thinks the Hammers will do so against Roy Hodgson's men, who are smarting from a 3-1 defeat against arch-rivals Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night.
