Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that fans got to see both the best and worst of his West Ham side against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

As reported by BT Sport, Pellegrini said: I hate it when my team play badly.

However, West Ham second half goals coming from Angelo Ogbonna and a Javier Hernandez brace, after Mark Noble’s first half penalty, saw the Hammers snatch a win.

Talking after the Premier League match-up, Pellegrini admitted he hated watching his side play badly in the first half.

That reflects the character of the team

Jan Siewert’s side, who sit rock bottom of the Premier League table, were in a promising position thanks to goals from Juninho Bacuna, and a double from January signing Karlan Grant.

The Hammers were 3-1 down at the London Stadium with just 15 minutes remaining, and somehow came from behind in dramatic fashion to win 4-3 over the beleaguered Terriers.
