Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is hoping to make Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang his latest capture from the Premier League.

Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the Gabonese forward, but they are now said to have turned their attentions to Inter forward Lautaro Martinez.

The Gunners are set to ask for around £70million from Inter if they want to team Aubameyang up with his former Premier League rivals Lukaku, Christian Eriksen and Ashley Young.

However, despite the little amount of time left on Aubameyang's contract, the fee they will quote Conte and Inter could prove to be a stumbling block.

Arsenal captain Aubameyang is into the final 18 months of his Gunners deal, and is said to have reservations about committing his long-term future to the club at the age of 30.

Arsenal are ready to take a tough stance on Aubameyang's future if he doesn't commit to a new Gunners deal, with the forward having already rejected an offer from the club said to be worth around £350,000 a week.

Arsenal look unlikely to finish in the top four this season, forcing Aubameyang - who has never played in European football's premier competition for the Gunners - to consider his future in north London.
