Andy Carroll reaffirmed his desire to stay at West Ham United, despite his deal expiring in the summer.

Carroll’s current deal in east London expires in six months, meaning he can talk to interested parties in Europe as of right now.



“I feel I don’t have to score to make an impact,” Carroll added.



However, the England international defiantly told talkSPORT after the game at the London Stadium he is willing to work hard on the pitch to prove he deserves a new deal under Manuel Pellegrini.

“I think even if I don’t get on the scoresheet or assist I cause problems.”

The towering centre-forward came off the bench to help the Hammers secure their third successive win with a 3-2 victory over London rivals Crystal Palace.
