Five ways West Ham can get even better after the international break

West Ham have had a decent start to the Premier League campaign as they sit seventh in the standings after the first four games of the season and with the international break mercifully drawing to a close.

After that it's Sheffield United (H), Newcastle (H) and Burnley (A).

After that performance in E20, it might be a bit unreasonable to suggest West Ham can improve because it can't really get much better than that display.

The ibreak could have been better timed though as Manuel Pellegrini's side really hit their stride in the 2-0 win against the Canaries at London Stadium last time out with goals from Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko to continue their good recent run.

Pellegrini and his players were back at training on Monday - minus those still away with their countries - and the manager always striving for perfection and constantly says he wants to see his team get better and better each week.

They only kept seven clean sheets last season and Pellegrini constantly preaches in press conferences his team still needs to be better at the back.

It's been a quiet start to his West Ham career and you know there is an awful lot more to come from the £25m midfielder once he gets up to speed with the Premier League.
