Silva joined in training with the first team on Thursday ahead of the meeting with the Eagles.

Silva was set to the play in that game but suffered his hamstring injury in training a couple of days before what would have been his first team bow.

The 21-year-old summer signing has only just returned from a hamstring injury that kept him out for ten weeks, making his first appearance since September last week in a 3-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.

It didn't take long for the frontman to get back up to speed as he scored twice for Liam Manning's youngsters in their PL2 win and once again thrust himself into the spotlight.
