Darren Randolph is back in east London after two and a half years away from the club, re-joining West Ham from Middlesbrough.

Randolph said of his return to east London: "I’m delighted to be back at West Ham United.

"West Ham is a massive club, with fantastic supporters and an excellent squad of players.

Randolph played 42 times for West Ham between 2015 and 2017 before he moved to the north east and excelled at Boro as he was voted into the EFL Championship PFA team of the year and was voted Middlesbrough's player of the year in 2019.

David Martin replaced the keeper at Bramall Lane in the first half and committed an error that led to Oli McBurnie's winning goal after half time.

The Hammers have finally got a deal over the line more than a week after a move was agreed as Randolph has missed 12 of Boro's last 16 games with a thigh injury.

It's a great feeling to be back in the Premier League with such a fantastic club, and I can’t wait to get started."
