India face Bahrain in their third and final Group A fixture at the AFC Asian Cup 2019 as they look to secure passage to the knockout stage for the first time.

Here are three things to look out for as the Blue Tigers take on Bahrain at the Al-Sharjah Stadium in Sharjah at 9.30 PM IST: India have placed a lot of trust in their finishing at the Asian Cup and so far, that has determined their fortunes.

The Blue Tigers' worst defeat to The Red came in the 2011 Asian Cup as they were thrashed 5-2.

A win will not only secure qualification to the knockout stage but also avenge their previous losses.

The Blue Tigers need talisman Sunil Chhetri to be at his clinical best against Bahrain if they are to make a fist of it and secure a positive result.

Stephen Constantine's team have impressed at the tournament but will be ruing their poor finishing against UAE as they now need a win against Bahrain to assure themselves of qualification or a draw to stay in the hunt for a round of 16 berth.

Their clinical finishing helped them defeat Thailand 4-1 but the game against UAE saw them revert to type as they were profligate in front of goal, wasting five good chances that eventually saw them lose 2-0.
